A great tasting cocktail for Valentines day, or any flirty occasion if you get that lucky!
A lightly sparkling and blush coloured cocktail worth celebrating.
First things first, set the scene and light a few candles.
For this Apple and Raspberry Flirtini you will need:
1 Apple juice (with Elderflower is reaaally nice)
top up with Champagne
Decorate with a fresh raspberry and slice of apple.
You could either mix the top 4 ingredients into the Cocktail Shaker over ice, or do what I did and place all the ingredients in the fridge until fully chilled.
I used a shot glass for my measurements.
Starting with the Princely looking Chambord.
Followed by the Vodka, my favourite is Grey Goose, but any favourite of your is perfect.
Add in the Cachaca,
and then the apple and elderflower juice.
Before you add the Champagne cut 2 thin slices of apple and squeeze a little lemon juice over them to stop them browning.
Now use a cocktail stick to cup the apple slice around the raspberry.
All set, pour in the golden sparkling Champagne.
And watch the raspberry enjoy it’s bubble bath. Or, you can say sweet things to your loved one like, ‘Happy Valentine’s’ and sup up.
Thank you to Matthew, for working on this cocktail with me, for sampling quite a few, and for coming up with this final version x
