Blackberry and Raspberry Rum Smash

This blackberry and raspberry rum smash is a delicious sweet cocktail made with berries and mint. This is a healthier rum smash with raspberries, blackberries, lemon juice and mint. This is a sugar syrup free cocktail sweetened with maple syrup.

Raspberry cocktails might be considered a girly cocktail. And, yes, it is. But, for you men I’ve added some butch blackberries. It’s sweetened only with the fruit itself and a little maple syrup. Along with a handful of mint it is a healthier version of a rum smash. Strain out the seeds if you want a more decadent blackberry and raspberry rum smash, but I quite like the rustic version and assume optimistically the tiny seeds have beneficial properties to them. This couldn’t be a more easy to make cocktail, simply whizz everything together in a blender! That’s it. Because the raspberries are already frozen this delicious berry cocktail will be cold without all the cocktail shakery makery. That’s more time for cozying up with your loved one.
