Family weddings are magical. When two people you love say ‘I do… I will…’, for a moment, for that day, your mind, soul and body are thrown into celebrating their commitment and the outside world is forgotten. In this love bubble everything is beautiful, everyone is your friend and songs played from every era feel like family anthems.
I went to my cousins wedding in Kent this weekend where their generous, fun loving spirit had us all wooh and awww, grinning and having dance-offs. Yes, young and old, the introvert and the rambunctious, were up getting ones swerve on.
My baby caught the bouquet!!
There was cake!
Here we all are in our prime.
Congratulations Kelly and Stuart and thank you, we all had a brilliant time xx
The venue was exceptional, the Old Kent Barn was as pretty as a picture and the staff were amazing.
Their photographer was a great guy (Gavin), check him out here he took the cheeky photo of me eating way too much cake. He mingles really well with guests thereby capturing some great moments.
Later we stayed at The Marquis, Alkham which had one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in! The staff were clearing up when we fell through their doors but cheerfully brought us bags of crisps, cups of tea and a nightcap for the boys.
