These ice-cream sundae ideas are so good I’m trying not to get emotional. It may also be a sugar rush I’m having after developing all these recipes, but boy is it worth it! If you are looking to make fun desserts with the grandchildren, nieces and nephews these are perfect. Both children and adults love these!
I’ll show you how to make an ice-cream sundae that is so deliciously naughty, fun and looks amazing too! With names like Red Velvet, Salted Banoffee and Chocolate Mousse Oreo, you know I mean it! But don’t worry the recipes are simple enough and btw they use up any left over brownies!
Expect these sundaes to have plenty of chocolate ingredients, a toppings list for days and glee from anyone lucky enough to get one!

Serve these ice-cream sundae ideas into a glass vessel (I’m thinking drinking glass rather than vase). It’s important to see the layers within the sundaes!
These ice-cream sundae ideas all contain brownie in them. It’s a great way to use up the last few squares. Although, you may want to buy some especially. For my Antioxidant-rich Brownie follow this link (might as well cram a few healthy ingredients in there!).
Red Velvet Ice-cream Sundae
Just layer up starting with the brownie, then the ice-cream, chopped-up pecans, fresh raspberries, flakes of chocolate and a sprinkle of dried raspberries. Just repeat until you run out of room.
Salted Banoffee Ice-cream Sundae
You need the ingredients below plus the ice-cream and a pinch of salt (whoops!).
Just add a pinch of salt to the caramel to suit your taste, then layer the ingredients up. Start with the brownie, a small scoop of ice-cream, then a few slices of banana, a good drizzle of the salted caramel, a sprinkle of chopped brazil nuts, a little cream and finally the chocolate. Repeat until your vessel can hold no more.
Chocolate Mousse Oreo Ice-cream Sundae
You will need these ingredients, plus the brownie. I’ve used chocolate Oreos but the original are good too.
Get your vessel and layer the ingredients up starting with the brownie, then a little cream, chocolate mousse, crunched-up Oreo biscuits then a little ice-cream. Keep going until you no longer can. I finished mine off with more chocolate flake deciding virtually every ice-cream dessert looks better with chocolate flake on top!
You should have seen my family with these desserts. Yes, it got messy, but that’s what napkins are for!
Let me know how you get on with your ice-cream sundae ideas, I’d love to hear from you!
