I have picked a gorgeous collection of smart blouses and trousers for Spring and I don’t mind telling you it’s a look I really love. I don’t often get the chance to wear smart blouses and trousers working at home, so I relish it when I can. I have chosen bright tops and neat trousers that are comfortable and easy to wear, yet stylish, elegant and chic! Girls, this is not just office wear or clothes to wear to a meeting, you could dress up for Parents evening, wear it to an art gallery or just for the hell of it (like me!).
With Spring being a transitional month, I’m still wearing boots, but you may prefer shoes. I’ve added in some fantastic Spring coats perfect for the warmer weather. They are a little lighter in cloth and are in fabulous designs, colours and patterns. I think you’ll love them.
PIN for later!
This wrap blouse with gorgeous billowing arms is a beautiful red wine colour. It has a very flattering deep V-neck line. If you are looking for a really nice straightforward button up blouse, try this silk violet one the colour is the statement!
Probably my favourite one – and the one I think I’ll order is this balloon sleeve blouse it isn’t over the top so although it has a contemporary shape it is very elegant and chic. It’s a crazy bargain at £22.95!
I have found a range of smart trousers in various leg widths, fabrics, neutral colours, lengths and price.
These smart trousers in sloane blue are on the more expensive side but are beautifully cut in cloth that will flatter. Another investment piece are these classic black trousers which are tapered at the hem for you to show off your statement shoes. A wonderful contemporary twist then!
A bargain pair are these black fit and flare trousers which are on sale at £20.80.
If you are looking for a pair with a statement cloth try these smart but fashionable pair. The cut has a slightly high rise waist with tailored legs.
I love these ‘Hepburn’ trousers – they are well named as they hint to the Hepburn style. They look really slimming and stylish. If Audrey Hepburn will, I’m definitely in!
FIND THIS ACTUAL BLOUSE (IN 3 COLOURS) IN MY BOUTIQUE! x
Transitional clothing, it seems, always involves layering. So, for now, in the UK at least, we need long, light-weight coats in fairly cheerful Spring colours.
I have found some beauties. This ‘Sunshine’ longline coat really ticks the box and is bright, modern and elegant.
I adore this cute tie belt coat. It has a wonderful blush pink checked pattern, for a modern look this Spring.
The one I want to buy most is this chic ‘Waterfall’ coat at a crazy £39.98 – it’s on sale so hurry if you fancy the sound of this one!
I’ve added a few accessories to finish off the look. I have these leather ankle boots in ‘Silver Birch’ and whenever I wear them, people have remarked on them! I love this minimalist navy clutch bag. Because it is sleek and fuss free it will go with practically everything! This pretty blush one is a classic silhouette and made from dark pink brushed suede. As well as being smart and lovely for Spring, it lends itself perfectly if you are a guest at Weddings this year!
Disclosure: I get commissions for purchases made through the links on this page. There is no extra cost to you and everything I pick I love and would 100% wear myself! Thank you so much for supporting my business and the brands that support my blog.
I really hope you’ve enjoyed my post all about smart blouses and trousers for Spring. What smart occasions do you have coming up?
