Sugar free Mocha Frappuccino recipe

I love frappuccinos but always feel guilty, and a bit rubbish, after having one. Not any more! This ones practically good for you being low fat and sugar free. Like any coffee beverage you can adjust it to suit you. This time of year an icy pick-me-up that takes a couple of minutes to make at home is my idea of a result

For my sugar free Mocha Frappuccino recipe you will need:

Ingredients for my sugar free Mocha Frappuccino recipe

1/4 pint of skimmed milk (or almond/rice/whole milk!)
2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa
1 large or 2 small frozen bananas
an espresso cup of very strong coffee (or less/more – try it then adapt to suit you)
Ice cubes about a mug or tumbler full (spoiler alert – the more ice – the more icy!)

All you have to do it put all the ingredients into the blender, except your espresso, and whizz it all up

Then layer it up with your strong coffee for a more exciting slurping experience

I always feel good after having one of these. It’s great to know what goes into your drink. So, make it your own. If you want it more sweet, add more frozen banana, more chocolaty, add more cocoa, more icy, add more… you get the idea!
