I love frappuccinos but always feel guilty, and a bit rubbish, after having one. Not any more! This sugar free Mocha Frappuccino recipe is practically good for you. Like any coffee beverage which frappuccino is the best is a subjective thing. I’ll show you how to make a an ice cold Frappuccino that has the least calories and the least amount of sugar you can get away with. It’s a skinny or low cal version, but you can adjust it to suit you. It’s a really refreshing summer drink, but also a great pick me up after the gym or sprint round the supermarket.
So, forget trying to make a Starbucks coffee Frappuccino recipe because this one is a healthier version. You could even use soy for a vegan recipe or decaff coffee if you think that’s more healthy.

How to make Sugar Free Mocha Frappuccino recipe
- 1/4 pint of skimmed milk (or almond/rice/soya/whole milk!)
- 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- 1 large or 2 small frozen bananas
- an espresso cup of very strong coffee (or less/more – try it then adapt to suit you)(decaff, if you prefer)
- Ice cubes about a mug or tumbler full (spoiler alert – the more ice – the more icy!)
All you have to do it put the ingredients into the blender, except the espresso, and whizz it all up!
Then add it into a glass along with your strong coffee ready for your exciting slurping experience.
Just stir it up, just a little bit.
Ta da! That’s it! It crazy easy. Which means this can be made any time of day. Just keep a supply of frozen bananas.
